Participants will explore how historical and current giving data shapes donor behavior in the arts, culture, and humanities sector. The presenter will share how national trends informed strategic decisions, messaging, and donor engagement efforts in museums.

Objectives: Understand key findings from the 2025 Giving USA report and their relevance to museums and arts and culture organizations. Learn how museums across the sector applied national and historical giving data to refine fundraising strategy. Identify actionable ways to use philanthropic data to guide donor engagement, planning, and fundraising decisions.
Engagement: To foster an interactive session, the audience will be invited to share reflections via show-of-hand questions in order to gauge participants’ experiences. Case examples of peer organizations will be included, encouraging participants to consider how trends apply to their own organizations. There will also be a Q&A segment, offering an opportunity for participants to ask about issues that are top of mind for their organization.
